| I think the mechanical grip is so far superior in the 977's corner no amount of horsepower in a stock suspension z32 will come close. With my exige I was only able to get up to 138mph on the straights. I know the viper and modded z06's can get to the 160-180 marks. The difference is i'm stil pulling them in from exit to halfway due to exit speed, they start pulling 1-2 cars on me from half way to braking zone. Of course I brake later and harder than they can so I'm right there with them into the turns. You could put a 800rwhp Z32 out there on a standard road course track and I'd still pick a stock 977 to beat it. The only exception would be a track with extremely long straights. I've just had too many track days of seeing it in person to think otherwise. Oh, and 300lbs is alot of weight! Toss in a 300lb instructor in your Z on the track and tell me otherwise. :)
